A kettle is a pot used to boil liquids and for cooking. One removes its contents by pouring it into another container. The focus of the design is on that exact moment when the kettle reaches its boiling temperature and is ready for its users to pour the contents out of it - the sooner, the better. In order to provide this feeling, and inspired by the image of a predator ready to leap, the kettle leans forward, giving its users the feeling of "Do not dawdle. Pour."
