The Lifeguard buoy design is inspired by marine sports accessories. The hydrodynamic and symmetric shape enhance the users experience, both the survivor and lifeguard during the running swimming binding and turn.
The buoy is named after the Monterey fish which has inspired the shape of the logo, only to form an entire line of post cards patterns.
Connecting fashion and safety was an important issue for me, and thus the reason for the colorful and pattern like design, which gives the float a fashionable and personalized look, thus making it more desirable by lifeguards.
